About this piece

Inspired by the calm colours and organic forms of Portugal’s Algarve coast, the Brisa Serving Bowl brings a relaxed, Mediterranean feel to the table. Its generous proportions make it perfect for serving seasonal salads, pasta, vegetables or sharing dishes when entertaining.

Made in Portugal from fine stoneware, the bowl is finished with a reactive blue-and-white glaze that creates soft tonal movement across the surface. Natural variations make every piece subtly individual, adding character without feeling overly rustic.

Materials & care

Materials & craftsmanship

The Brisa Serving Bowl is made in Portugal from fine stoneware and finished with a glossy reactive glaze.

The blended blue and white tones are inspired by the lagoons, salt pans and sandy coastline of the Ria Formosa. Because of the reactive glazing process, variations in tone and pattern are an intentional part of the design. No two bowls will look exactly the same.

Its durable stoneware construction is designed for regular use while retaining the tactile, individual character of traditionally inspired Portuguese ceramics.

Care instructions

Dishwasher, microwave, freezer and oven safe.

For larger stoneware pieces, hand washing can help prevent accidental knocks and preserve the glazed finish. Use a non-abrasive sponge and avoid harsh scouring pads.

Allow the bowl to return to room temperature before moving it between very hot and cold environments, as sudden temperature changes may damage stoneware.
