Why you'll love it

Chelsea Solid Elm Dining Table – Made to Order brings the individual grain and patina of wood into a room. Its measured silhouette feels grounded beside linen upholstery and softer textures, giving everyday pieces a considered place to sit.

About this piece

The Chelsea Solid Elm Dining Table is a sleek, elegant dining table designed for timeless dining rooms, open-plan kitchens and beautifully considered family spaces. Crafted in Portugal from solid elm wood, Chelsea has a simple, refined silhouette with slender legs that gently curve towards the base, giving the piece a softer and more sculptural feel. This made-to-order dining table brings natural warmth, understated craftsmanship and lasting quality to everyday dining and special occasions alike.

Available in 2 sizes and 5 different stains: Natural, Grey, Walnut, Mocca, Black (shown here in Mocca & Walnut). The stain is covered by a matt lacquer which has a more modern finish than a shiny lacquer would.

Stain Choices:

Natural is the lightest choice and has a warm honey tone that is soft yet modern.
Grey is as the name suggests, a stain which includes a hint of grey tone for that sophisticated look.
Walnut includes a hint of red to create a wood stain that has a warmth to it.
Mocca is best described as an intense chocolate tone, softer than black yet highlight sophisticated.
Black is as the name suggests a rich black tone.

Materials & Craftmanship

The Chelsea Dining Table is crafted from solid elm wood, chosen for its durability, warmth and naturally expressive grain. Each table is made to order in Portugal, where skilled furniture-making techniques and careful finishing create a piece that feels elegant, substantial and designed to last.

Chelsea’s beauty lies in its balance of simplicity and detail. The clean tabletop gives the table a timeless presence, while the slender legs curve gently towards the base for a softer, more considered profile. The result is a dining table that feels light and graceful, while still carrying the strength and character of solid wood.

As elm is a natural material, each Chelsea table will have its own subtle variations in grain, tone and texture. These differences are part of the character of the piece and make every table individual.

Care Instructions

Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
Clean spills immediately to help protect the wood finish.
Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive cloths or silicone-based polishes.
Use placemats, coasters and trivets to protect the surface from heat, moisture and staining.
Keep away from direct heat sources and prolonged strong sunlight, which may affect the wood tone over time.
Maintain a stable indoor environment where possible, as natural solid wood can respond to changes in temperature and humidity.
For deeper cleaning, use products suitable for finished solid wood furniture.

Sustainability

The Chelsea Dining Table is made from solid elm wood, a durable natural material selected for its strength, longevity and distinctive grain. Designed to be used and loved over time, Chelsea offers a more considered alternative to trend-led dining furniture.

Its made-to-order production model supports a more intentional approach to furnishing your home, helping reduce unnecessary overproduction while allowing each piece to be created with care.

Because solid wood is a natural material, variations in grain, colour and texture should be expected and celebrated. These natural markings give every Chelsea table its own individual character.
