Materials & care

Materials & craftsmanship

The Lumo Table Lamp is crafted with a Carrara white marble base, chosen for its natural pale tone, grey veining and timeless materiality. The base features a softly ribbed finish, giving the stone a subtle architectural detail while allowing the marble itself to remain the focus.

It is paired with a cotton shade in a clean, angular shape, balancing the weight and permanence of the stone with a softer, textile finish. As marble is a natural material, each lamp will have its own individual patterning, tonal variation and veining, making every piece slightly different.

Care instructions

Wipe the marble base gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths, harsh cleaning products, acidic cleaners or anything that may mark natural stone.

Dust the cotton shade regularly with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. If needed, gently spot clean the shade with care, avoiding excess moisture. Always switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning or changing the bulb.

Sustainability

Made from natural Carrara marble and finished with a cotton shade, the Lumo Table Lamp is designed around enduring materials rather than short-lived trends. Marble is valued for its longevity, weight and natural beauty, while the neutral shade keeps the overall look timeless and easy to restyle as your home evolves.

As with all natural stone pieces, variations in veining and colour are part of the material’s character. Choosing long-lasting, versatile pieces like Lumo can help create a more considered home, reducing the need for frequent seasonal replacements.
