The design story

Sculptural from every angle

Mammuth is designed to command attention. Tubular supports rise into the backrest, giving its broad, curved silhouette a sense of movement and making the chair as striking from behind as it is from the front. Its generous proportions create a natural centrepiece for a spacious reading corner or living-room arrangement.

01

A statement in the round

The supports flow into the backrest to create a sculptural outline that can be appreciated from every side.

02

Room to truly settle in

A broad, deep seat creates a generous place to relax, with firm C1 foam providing support beneath its inviting shape.

03

Swedish design, European craft

Designed in Sweden and made in Europe, Mammuth is built with FSC®-certified solid European wood in its load-bearing parts.

A generous seat with firm C1 foam support and a softly padded surface.
The comfort profile

Generous proportions. A firmer sit.

Mammuth’s broad, deep seat offers plenty of room to settle in, while its C1 cold-foam cushioning provides a firmer, more supportive feel. Fibre padding softens the surface of the seat and back, with no-sag springs supporting the chair beneath. The fixed cushions maintain Mammuth’s bold, sculptural shape.

Materials & craftsmanship

Built beneath the sculpture

Designed in Sweden and made in Europe, Mammuth’s distinctive form is supported by FSC®-certified solid European wood in all load-bearing parts. No-sag springs form the seat foundation, while cold foam and fibre padding shape its generous seat and back. Fixed upholstery preserves the chair’s clean, sculptural outline.

A solid European wood foundation

FSC®-certified solid European wood forms Mammuth’s load-bearing structure, with no-sag springs supporting the seat.

Shaped with supportive foam

Cold foam forms the seat and back cores, with fibre padding adding softness while helping the fixed cushions retain their shape.

Tubular supports flow into the backrest to form Mammuth’s distinctive silhouette.

Fabric & finish

Shape its character

Mammuth’s sculptural form changes character with its upholstery. Textured fabrics soften its bold outline and create a more relaxed feel, while smoother fabrics or leather emphasise its flowing curves and architectural supports. Order samples to compare the colour and texture in your own room.

Ask us about this piece

What should I check before delivery?

Please check that your chosen piece will fit through doorways, hallways and staircases, as well as in its intended space. Use the product dimensions to plan the delivery route, and contact us before ordering if you have any questions about access.

Can I return my upholstered furniture?

Return eligibility depends on whether you choose from our standard options or request a bespoke piece. Please review our Furniture Returns Policy before ordering for full details of eligibility, time limits and collection charges. Contact our team before arranging a return.

What should I do if my furniture arrives damaged?

Please inspect your furniture on arrival and let the delivery team know about any visible damage. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photographs so we can help resolve the issue.

Caring for your piece

Vacuum fabric upholstery regularly using a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and surface debris. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth and avoid rubbing, as this can push marks further into the fabric. For leather upholstery, use suitable leather care products and follow specialist care guidance.

Keep the armchair away from direct sunlight and heat sources where possible to help protect the upholstery from fading, drying or discolouration. The Mammuth Armchair has a fixed cover with fixed seat and back cushions, so covers should not be removed for washing.
